Founded in 2026, St. Aldhelm’s Press is an independent Orthodox Christian publishing house based in New England.

Our mission is to produce beautiful and thoughtfully crafted books and devotional materials that reflect the richness of the Orthodox Catholic tradition, with a particular appreciation for the Western and Latin heritage within the Church. All of our projects are carefully crafted and assembled to adherence to holy tradition and to reflect the commentaries and commemorations of Orthodox saints. 
 

We believe that the books we use for prayer and worship should be worthy of the sacred traditions that they preserve. We therefore take great care in the design, printing, and presentation of each publication, seeking to unite sound content with enduring beauty and craftsmanship.
 

St. Aldhelm’s Press is pleased to announce a partnership with St. Alban’s Press and the Dowry of Mary Workshop in Dumfries, Scotland on a selection of Western Rite prayerbooks and publications, including works connected with the historic Christian traditions of the British Isles. St. Aldhelm’s serves patrons throughout North America by making these works available, and maintaining the publishing and printing efforts.

Dedicated scholar and bishop, St. Aldhelm (639 - 709 A.D.) served as a holy beacon for the West Country. From Somerset to Plymouth, his spiritual legacy reached the very shores where New England was later established. He was an inspired missionary and master of both Latin and Old English prose.
